Stress Busters!

Now that Thanksgiving is finished, Midterms are upon us.  Some of you might not have any midterms—I know I’ve had a few years when I only had them during the Winter exam period, during a full-year course—but others, like myself, could have four or five of them over next few weeks.

In order to combat the stress of midterms, the TDSA have a variety of stress-busting events happening on campus next week!

I think the main event of this term’s stress busters has to be the on-campus Yoga. Yoga is an excellent way to calm down, relax, and work out.  It will be happening Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night, from 5-6 pm in the Front Atrium—and I know I’ll be trying it out.

Another cool thing happening on campus next Thursday is the on-campus Pub Quiz Night! It’s an all-ages event, from 6-8:30 pm. Bring Your Own Team!!

Both of these events are absolutely free to TrentU Durham students, so come on out and bust some stress.

The Trent English Student Society of Oshawa (TESSO) is also holding a free book exchange next week, so if you want to trade some paperbacks, you might be able to find a great read for your Reading Week.
